The Position:
You will be part of a team of experts in clinical GMP manufacturing for viral vector-based therapies.
The main goal of your work is to support GMP manufacturing processes for AAV.
In addition, you are responsible for introducing new technologies and qualifying new equipment in the production area.
A versatile and varied job awaits you in a highly innovative working environment. These include, among others, the following tasks:
You perform media preparation, fermentation, r downstream operations and support the processes for production of viral vectors, including analytical activities for in-process control
You will be responsible for the process equipment and devices for the clinical production of viral vector-based therapies under GMP, including cleaning and maintenance activities
You support the commissioning and qualification of devices and systems
At the same time, you will support change control and deviation management processes (together with colleagues from different functions).
You also support the creation and review of SOPs, manufacturing and testing instructions or other documents under GMP requirements
You are involved in creating and updating templates and recipes in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
Depending on the production plan, your tasks in the development area (non-GMP) of our team make your work diverse and even more varied
Can you identify with the following statements?
You have successfully completed an apprenticeship and an additional training as a technician (m/f/d) within a scientific area, e.g. biotechnology, biology or similar
Ideally you have at least 2 years experience in a pilot, clinical or commercial production environment
You have knowledge and experience in operating equipment and systems for cell culture and/or purification. Expertise in single-use technologies and viral vector production is an advantage
You have already worked in a GMP environment and ideally in handling viral vectors including biosafety requirements
You are characterized by your careful, independent and responsible way of working, as well as your enjoyment of working in a team
Your high level of self-motivation and willingness to work across disciplines will help you find innovative solutions
At the same time, new topics and willingness to learn are the attraction that makes your everyday work even more varied
Your good knowledge of English and German is the cornerstone of your communication skills
This position is limited to 3 years.
