Studies reveal that nurses have twice the incidence of some respiratory problems compared with the general population – and inhale an equivalent of 27 cigarettes in an 8-hour day in the operating room. Stryker’s SafeAir product portfolio helps to reduce the exposure of healthcare professionals and their patients to surgical smoke (and its chemical, carcinogenic hazards).
