The Role & What You Will Be Doing

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Associate Planning Engineer role will make an impact:
- Obtain SAP maintenance schedule and send planned execution date to the Maintenance Team.
- Monitor task status within the planned maintenance program and report to the maintenance team incomplete tasks.
- Prior to Vendors arriving to site, ensure site induction is up to date and training is complete on SOPs required to work within manufacturing.
- Collect engineering deliveries against Purchase Orders to enable processing.
- Manage the emergency repair of parts by external contractors.
- Conduct monthly stock checks on fast moving parts.
- Conduct periodic physical inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies between inventory records and physical counts.
- Attend manufacturing planning meetings to ensure Maintenance and Engineering plan execution are on track.
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
- National Mechanical/Electrical craft certificate or a third level diploma/degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (e.g. electrical, mechatronics, instrumentation or mechanical).
- The ability to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative.
- Excellent problem solver.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read technical documentation and drawings.
- Good Computer literacy skills.
- Fluent English Speaking.
- Experience using a CMMS system, preferably SAP
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience working within a GMP environment.
- Demonstrate continuous personal development.
- Completed or plans to complete further education in engineering administration.
