Mission

Are you passionate about sports, culture, and the art of storytelling? The Olympic Museum is seeking an Assistant Curator to support the creation of inspiring exhibitions that bring the Olympic spirit to life for a global audience. In this role, you’ll contribute to the design and execution of innovative exhibitions that connect visitors to the Olympic Movement’s history, values, and impact in today’s world.

Main Responsibilities

Step into a role where your creativity fuels stories of athletic triumph and human connection. As the Assistant Curator at the Olympic Museum, you won’t just support exhibitions—you’ll help design experiences that echo across cultures and generations. Imagine blending historic artifacts, immersive technology, and compelling narratives to breathe life into the world’s greatest stories of sportsmanship and perseverance.

Here’s how you’ll make a mark:

  • Architect of Engagement: Help shape exhibitions that captivate minds and hearts. From drafting initial concepts to creating interpretive frameworks, you’ll ensure each exhibition captures the essence of the Olympic values—an invitation for visitors to see beyond the podiums and medals.
  • Co-Pilot of Innovation: Work side by side with curators, operations teams, and experts in design and tech. Together, you’ll push boundaries, creating spaces that make each Olympic story an interactive, unforgettable journey.
  • Storyteller & Researcher: Dive into research that brings every corner of the Olympic world to light. From rare images to artifacts, you’ll uncover the unseen, crafting a narrative that transcends borders and engages every visitor.
  • Champion of Collaboration: Play an essential role in bringing a shared vision to life, working with stakeholders from digital wizards to legal minds, each bringing their expertise to elevate the museum experience.
  • Cultural Alchemist: Help shape displays that don’t just inform but resonate—an artful blend of history, art, and culture that makes every exhibit feel both timeless and new.

Profile

Experience: Expertise in crafting sensory experiences and using an iconoclastic approach to create engaging, innovative content. Focused on developing creative content or providing project support, with a strong emphasis on delivering memorable experiences that encourage visitors to return.

Digital Tools: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management tools.

Languages: Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written, is essential.

In this role, you’re not simply curating content; you’re sparking curiosity, igniting imaginations, and creating connections that will outlast any exhibition date.
