On behalf of our client, a global trading company, Swisslinx is currently looking for a Systems Engineer.

Workload 100%, onsite only

This is a permanent role.

You will oversee the company infrastructure in all its aspects.

• Work location Central Switzerland – Zug area.
• Your role
• Design, maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems networks configurations, storage, servers, Active Directory
• Implement and maintain strategies for backup, security and redundancy
• Identify potential issues and implement solutions proactively
• Coordinating computer network access, remote access and use.
• Administrating and support cloud-based systems and related services
• Manage technical documentation
• Vendor contact/management
• Install and configure operating systems, software, and hardware components, and leverage IT staff for routine tasks, helpdesk support
  

Your profile

• Computer Science, Computer Information Systems academic background
• System Engineering experience within an MS environment, 7-10 years therein
• Enterprise level infrastructure experience, inc design and implementation
• Hands-on with Active Directory Best Practices design and operation, min of 4-7 years
• Knowledge of cloud-based systems - Azure, Office365 +.
• Experience with VMWare tech
• VEEAM backup systems knowledge
