The Opportunity

Aru p Ireland are seeking talented students to join our team over the period of a few months. We look for students who are ready to jump into the professional world; diverse individuals with inquisitive minds and a desire to challenge. You will work alongside skilled professionals and contribute to the success of real projects. You will also enjoy learning sessions with technical experts within your team, working on local projects and all kinds of social events.

Your Responsibilities:

As an Structural Engineer work placement student, you would be working closely with experienced structural engineers to:


  • Design structural elements in reinforced concrete, steel, timber or masonry.
  • You will undertake structural modelling using software such as GSA, Tekla Structural Designer, or other structural software


Some Of Our Team’s Exciting Projects:


  • Student undertaking a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (NFQ Level 8/9 or equivalent)
  • English speaking

Our team are involved in a wide range of sectors including education, commercial and healthcare. Some of our current educational projects include the University College Dublin, Teaching and Learning Building and Trinity College Dublin E3 Learning Foundry.
