What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer for the DocuSign AI Platforms team, you are responsible for architecting and building foundational pipelines and platforms of our next gen agreement analytics products and services that enable analytics & decision making throughout the entire DocuSign business.

This position is an Individual Contributor reporting to the Director of Engineering.

Responsibility

• Performing development tasks within the team
• Being a part of solution and vision discussions in the team
• Securing key KPI’s of the product such as performance, scaling and upgradeability/maintainability
• Driving your own work and securing progress with own responsibility
• Component ownership for some of our technical components
  
  

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 8+ years of experiences coding in production (Java, Python, Scala, C#)
• Strong understanding and experience in agile methodologies
• Fluency in English
  
  

Preferred

• 4+ years of experience in designing and implementing scalable software platforms
• Proven expertise and experience in one or multiple of the following areas:
• Designing and developing scalable cloud based software platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, IBM), and/or
• Building production ready software systems in AI and machine learning, and/or
• Building large scale big data data pipelines using Spark or other frameworks, with Databricks, Cloudera, MAPR, Teradata etc, with solid understanding of the big data architecture
• Track record of ideation and innovating technology at scale
• Entrepreneurial and strategic mindset, thriving at the intersection of technology and business
