Job Description

• Enter General Ledger (GL) entries in SAP daily, ensuring accurate recording of transactions and performing various closing activities as per the monthly checklist.
• Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations, verify backup support for balances, and promptly resolve any reconciling or overdue items.
• Assist with SOX compliance and support both internal and external audit requests.
• Prepare and reconcile payroll entries and monthly payments.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies, operational strategies, and process improvements, including system changes.
• Focus on optimizing system efficiencies and enhancing business practices.
• Manage ad-hoc projects as needed.
• Support US GAAP and local statutory audits.
  

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience in a multinational finance setting; Big 4 and/or healthcare experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in SAP and experience with GL entries, reconciliations, and SOX compliance.
• Willingness to execute daily transactional tasks in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
• Excellent communication skills with cultural sensitivity; fluent in English, with additional languages (French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese) being an asset.
