About the technological area

You will be part of the Advanced Communications Area, specifically you will focus in the field of micro-nanoelectronics and photonics, applying your knowledge to fields such as Communications, Aerospace, Security or Broadcast, as well as explore new technologies that will promote disruptive nanotechnology solutions with application in more diverse areas.

Your main tasks

  • Design of photonic solutions for multiple type of applications; from system architecture level to integrated circuit layout and simulations.
  • Assembly, test and validate hardware implementations and early prototypes.
  • Keep up to date with photonic state of the art, generate and investigate new concepts and ideas to incorporate to the photonics line.
  • Support the team with the development work and technology questions.

We are looking for

  • Real experience in photonic technologies and understanding of underlying physic concepts.
  • Experience with scientific programming and electromagnetic simulation tools; commercial or self-made.
  • Strong orientation to detail and drive to find solutions to real problems.
  • Passion for new technologies and learning new concepts
  • Teamwork capability
  • Degree, Master or PhD in photonics, physics, telecommunications or related studies

It would be great that you have...

  • Master in nanotechnology, photonics, microelectronics or similar.
  • Will to learn, grow and acquire new skills in the field of photonics.
  • Drive to develop innovative solutions and deliver quality results.

What we offer

Salary: From 23.000€SBA + 10% variable depending on your knowledge, experience and desire. This is the starting point, the idea is to find an agreement during the process.
