Are you looking for a challenging and interesting Internship as of October 2023 until April 2024. You will be working on-site in Emmen next to the military airfield. You support the Swiss Air Force (SAF) fleet by contributing in the following manner:
 
Intern Materials and Process Engineer

• Support in the performance of material test: create procedures, create documents for data collection, evaluating results and create test reports
• Coordinate testing activities
• Support qualification of new surface treatments for metallic alloys
• Support Production Organization with documents for specimens manufacturing
• Participate in process specification improvement project
• Participate in the creation of materials database used on SAF and provide recommendations where required
• Follow up material procurement with logistic department
  

 
What you should bring with you

• Enrolled in technical studies (BSc, MSc) from an accredited institution in Materials Engineering or equivalent field of studies
• Motivated individual with interest in the aeronautical sector
• Interest in aeronautical materials and manufacturing processes
• Good communication and writing skills in English and German
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
• Proactive
• Teamplayer
• Compliant with Swiss Security Clearance and ITAR Clearance requirements
