As a Device Configurators Business Analyst, you will be a member of the Design, Configuration & Knowledge Sharing Agile Unit, which is focused on implementing and maintaining configurators for Electrification Business Area products. You will be cooperating with Global Product Management and Local Marketing and Sales, as well with development teams that operate in an international environment. You will participate in requirements elicitation, prioritization, and specification including configuration rules, and interfaces with quotation, pricing and ordering processes, and acceptance testing to help create best in class device configurators.

The role will report to the IS Manager.

Your responsibilities

• Uncover, collect, analyze, and prioritize business requirements, skillfully translating them into implementation specifications.
• Collaborate closely with business users and development team to establish clear developments plan and testable acceptance criteria, ensuring seamless alignment.
• Work together with developers and IS project managers to estimate and monitor development effort, encompassing capacity, status, and velocity, across planned developments and releases.
• Master the intricacies of our application landscape and grasp business needs, allowing you to proactively address incidents and changes.
• Take an active role in creating and presenting innovative solutions to our Business users and Partners.
• Become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in your area of expertise, contributing your technical and business process/data prowess to drive ongoing operations and develop high-quality products.
• Embrace a collaborative, cross-discipline team environment, applying Agile development methodologies and actively participating in all team activities
  

Your background

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with strong IT or Product Development background to excel in this role.
• Possess a minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Business/Functional Analyst or Product Manager
• A deep understanding of intercommunication between IT systems, leveraging this knowledge to streamline processes.
• Excellent communication skills to foster effective collaboration with both business users and technical developers.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of ABB Electrification products, and quotation and order processes for them will be advantageous.
• Additional Exposure to Products & Technologies:
• Showcasing knowledge of API, JSON, XML, and Configit ACE/Model will give you an edge in this position
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written, with a flair for technical wording
