SILEX is an independent financial intermediary founded in 2016, which aims to provide long-term support to the wealth management industry, combining the best of human expertise and cutting-edge technology developed in-house.

We support our clients in every step of their investment process through three complementary ranges of expertise: Research & Development, Investment Solutions and Asset Management. SPARK, our proprietary tools platform, powers everything we do.

With more than 100 employees in Geneva, Zurich, Paris, Monaco and London, we now want to consolidate our rapid growth, both through ambitious projects to strengthen our structure and new developments.

AS PART OF ITS OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY STRATEGY SILEX IS BEGINNING TO OVERHAUL ITS BACK OFFICE AND ACCOUNTING INFRASTRUCTURE.


Over the past 5 years, we have developed our own front and middle office software, which includes

  • Manual trade entry and automatic trade captures from brokers and platforms,
  • Allocation of orders to clients and custodian banks,
  • Management of payables and receivables commissions (reconciliation and computation),
  • Products and third parties referentials.


The scope of the project is:

  • Trading of Structured Products, AMCs, Bonds, and other assets
  • Position accounting
  • Execution and allocation of trades in multiple portfolios (AMC or SPVs)
  • International : Our operational entities are based in Switzerland, France and Monaco

As part of the project SILEX is willing to enhance:

  • Integration of journal event details, such as transaction costs and stamp taxes, into an accounting software which will be chosen accordingly,
  • Ensure accurate and efficient implementation of various fees related to products distribution framework,
  • Improve and automate reconciliations between the cash view (bank) and the accounting receivables / payables,
  • Automate the import of transaction details, balances, and payment statuses into the database, Create a securities portfolio reconciliation,
  • Create best-in class financial reportings with monthly reconciliated NBI (we already use MS PowerBI for such purposes),
  • Analyze alternative options to invoice and document payables / receivables commissions,
  • Better integrate the banking resources to enable frequent bank reconciliation and payments automation,
  • Create treasury dashboards able to report and look forward intensive inflows and outflows,
  • Deal with financial products positions: monthly price updates and balance sheet entries.

As part of this role, the candidate will collaborate closely with internal tools development teams, as well as finance and operations teams. The ability to bridge technical and operational domains will be key to ensuring smooth project execution and alignment with organizational goals.The tasks range from drafting precise specifications, managing the project internally and with the vendors, to QA / Acceptance testing before go live.

The ideal candidate is someone with strong knowledge of accounting modelization of financial brokerage activities, and who has led or contributed to similar projects in the past. An extensive knowledge of financial markets, market infrastructure and financial accounting is needed.He must be able to discuss SILEX business specifics with Finance and Operations teams, transaction booking models and the resulting accounting entries with software engineers, and the desired functionalities and integration with the accounting software vendor.

The candidate thrives in dynamic, collaborative environments where communication and adaptability are key to success.

The working language is either French or English.

Knowledge of MS Business Central is a plus.

The mission is for 6 month, renewable.
