Your mission
Design and implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab for various environments, such as Python, Goovy, Node.js, and C++.
Support defining and implementing CI/CD pipelines for the software lifecycle.
Continuously improve our software development process and infrastructure by implementing best practices, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing and implementing solutions.
Develop and maintain tools to automate deployment and monitoring.
Work closely with developers to ensure code changes ae properly tested, built, and deployed to production.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and other quality assurance activities.
Onboard new developers to our CI/ CD infrastructure and provide training and support.
Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies and make recommendations for improvements.
Your profile
B.Sc. / M.Sc. in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field
At least 3 years of experience in software development
Experience in system engineering or a related field
Experience as DevOps / SRE engineer
Knowledge of Linux and distributed systems
Experience maintaining hardware and operating systems, particularly Linux
Experience with virtualisation/containerisation technologies like KVM, Docker/Podman or LXC
Knowledge of automated software testing, continuous integration, and release management
Hands-on experience with common DevOps toolchains, such as Jenkins, git, ansible, REST APIs, and cloud technologies
Programming skills in languages: Python and C++ or Go
Ability to solve problems independently
Very good communication skills, a collaborative mindset and a can-do attitude
Upstanding work ethic and excellent organisational skills
English is mandatory, German is a plus
