The Site Finance Analyst DPS is a key Business Partner to the Asset Operations and the Bio Operations Finance team. The role is responsible for enabling site Asset leadership team to reach short- and long-term targets by providing insightful analysis and recommendations in all financials aspects of the plant such as (but not limited to) cost clarity, product profitability, key performance indicators in production, innovation, cost savings, planning cycles and net working capital.

Key responsibilities:

  • Enabling site operations to reach short-and long-term targets by providing insightful analysis and recommendations in all financials aspects of the plant such as (but not limited to) cost transparency, product profitability, key performance indicators in production, innovation, cost savings, planning cycles and net working capital

  • Leading monthly financial closing, forecast and risks and opportunity process together with Business Unit & Division Controlling (revenue to EBITDA and free cash flow, balance sheet and NWC)

  • Assisting with the asset's 5-year planning process, prioritizing sales, cost savings/innovation, and investment planning

  • Leading annual budgeting process with operations leadership with the objective of meeting corporate targets and deadlines

  • Supporting process and systems improvement projects (SAP enhancements, new process and tools introductions etc.) together with local and global supply chain group, corporate accounting and global operations

  • Acting as single point of contact towards Shared Service Center and external auditors in accounting, internal controls and audit questions for the area of responsibility

  • Supporting the Site Finance Head in SCM related matters

  • Acting as the backup for the site Finance Head and representing the site Finance function in all key local and global forums as required.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on finance, accounting, or economics, or equivalent experience. Candidates with a Master’s degree or equivalent experience are preferred.

  • Must have a high level of proficiency in English; German is preferred.

  • Prior experience within Finance and controlling in multi-national, preferred pharma life sciences or chemical industry, or Big 4 prior experience in a relevant area.

  • Must have strong analytical skills, experience in financial modelling, and effective communication skills. Should be able to work well in teams, adapt to different systems, and handle ambiguity. Must be flexible and proactive in finding standard processes. Should have the ability to prioritize and deliver high-quality work quickly.

  • Gravitas of a current and future leader, bias towards action and results delivery which are essential in a highly performance oriented environment, hard worker.
