Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Support the Supervisor of the Technical Production department in ensuring the development of secondary and auxiliary packaging through the preparation, management, modification, and transfer of specifications.
  • Manage relationships with clients and suppliers of materials and packaging machines, strictly adhering to required standards and current regulations (laws, GMP, FDA, etc.).
  • Define secondary and auxiliary packaging specifications through the analysis of information collected via Technology Transfer, Business, Engineering, and packaging machine suppliers.
  • Draft and ensure compliance of packaging specifications with client requirements and compatibility with packaging machines.
  • Coordinate the development of secondary and auxiliary packaging by transferring specifications and/or artworks to various material suppliers and supervising development activities.
  • Conduct technical tests to support the installation or upgrading of packaging lines (FAT/SAT/PERFORMANCE) to optimize material specifications.
  • Manage current specifications and/or artworks, ensuring they are appropriately linked to the related finished product, packaging lines, and supplier costs.
  • Maintain and update databases containing specifications, artworks, costs, and client associations.
  • Work with client databases to manage artwork/specification workflow.
  • Support Supervisor in timely implementation of client-requested changes, maintaining traceability of the change history.
  • Assist Quality Control in the quality assurance of incoming materials by providing necessary specifications.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Compliance functions to manage non-conformities and conduct internal and external audits.
  • Provide technical documentation necessary for the accurate setting of packaging lines and control of materials for manufacturing finished products.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in packaging development within a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of GMP, FDA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proficient with Adobe Illustrator.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Degree in Engineering, Material Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience in these areas.
