Context : Reporting directly to the Bank Executive Committee, the Client Solutions & Strategy team has a strategic role in ensuring that the Bank’s product shelf is aligned with its business strategy and client needs, and that its distribution to the Front Office (and to clients) is optimized; hence contributing to the Bank’s commercial success. Furthermore, the Client Solutions & Strategy team supports the Bank’s Executive Committee on the definition of its strategic plan and perform ad hoc strategic analysis / project on request.

Job summary : The Strategic Project Manager will lead projects such as launch of new products / services as well as strategic projects requested by the Bank’s Executive Committee. She / he will also participate to the management of the products & service governance, including the review and optimization of current products / services’ shelf. The Strategic Project Manager will report to the Head of Client Solutions & Strategy.

Responsabilités principales

  • Lead product development projects and/or other (business) strategic projects requested by the Executive Committee, from strategy / business case definition to implementation and finally change management.
  • Coordinate the launch of products (investment, wealth, banking solutions) with investment teams, front office, legal, risk management, operations, tax, etc.
  • By leveraging the products & services governance, coordinate with relevant experts from the investment platform to develop a well-paced product pipeline and ensure a dynamic commercial agenda for RMs
  • Contribute to defining and implementing an overall offering strategy and target product shelf (products and services, both investment and non-investment), based on the Bank’s business strategy

Profil

Professional experience:

  • Minimum 5 to 8 years’ proven project management experience in a reputable consulting firm, preferably with a focus on wealth / asset management, combined with a successful experience on product development and/or strategy (with clear implementation experience) within a wealth or asset manager

Professional competencies:

  • Expert knowledge of project-management toolkit and demonstrated experience of leading relevant projects up to completion
  • In-depth understanding of finance, including investment products and wealth management business model
  • Excellent organization, planning and execution skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Solid interpersonal skills, allowing to build trust relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively and persuasively

Language requirements:

  • Excellent command of English and French, both spoken and written

  • Bachelor / Master degree in Finance, Economics or Management (or equivalent qualification)
  • CFA or equivalent a plus
