Your role and responsibilities

ABB Library team is looking for a Senior .NET developer willing to join us and work on improving existing user tools and introducing new ones to help the business. We are customer oriented, focused on quality and maximizing the business value. We build a product, not run a project and continuous improvement is the way we work. We are not afraid of fresh ideas if we think they help us to deliver better software for our users. In this role, you will have the opportunity to guide and/or support teams by actively providing solutions and process standards to prevent defects. You will also showcase your expertise by extending the guidance/support through the phases of the development process to ensure that the results of each phase adhere to the defined quality standards and meet target dates and budgets. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the IS Services business of ABB. You will be mainly accountable for: • Designing, developing, and releasing cross technology software solutions. • Contributing throughout the product development lifecycle, as this team is fully responsible for product development and delivery. • Actively following and applying current trends in software development best practices, technologies, and ABB standards to build high quality products. • Collaborating with Software Architects to ensure development work aligns with technical drivers. • Working in a cross discipline team, using agile development methodology that requires active participation in all team’s activities. • Contributing to the team culture of quality and high performance in daily team R&D activities. Mentor junior level team members and peer review other team members’ work to ensure high product quality levels.

Qualifications for the role

• 5+ years of experience in software development in .NET and C#.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and SQL Database
• Basic knowledge or experience in Azure platform and REACTJS or willingness to learn it based on experience in similar technology
• Customer and quality focus with good communicative skills in English and Polish
• Knowledge or experience in Apache SOLR, Docker, K8s, Azure AI services or TypeScript is preferred
