CONTEXT & MISSION:
In the context of the new multi-brand approach, we are looking for a highly motivated Senior Brand Manager Travel Retail EMEA & Americas to join our Travel Retail Department. Key leader within the Marketing team, you will be accountable for establishing Travel Retail as a brand building platform and for driving the strategic plan to grow brands across Travel Retail Europe & Americas. In this role, you will work in close collaboration with the rest of the Travel Retail Team (Sales, Finance & Operations) as well as Global Brand teams and external partners.
This position is based in Plan-les-Ouates (near Geneva) and reports to Global Travel Retail Marketing Director.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
1) Brand Management (Sell-In)
Partnering with Global Brand, lead the development and implementation of brand plans adapted to Travel Retail to grow market share (Assortment Strategy, Marketing Launches and Trade Animation Calendars);
Ensure brand image and Global messages are respected and aligned with brand elevation and new standards;
Lead annual forecasting exercise to determine the right level of forecast for novelties and iconic SKUs and work closely with Demand Planning and Sales team to deliver forecast accuracy;
Support Global TR Marketing Director and RGM team for pricing exercises;
Animate the TR-exclusive portfolio to reach annual targets (SI/SO/OP);
Manage the marketing budget to ensure key launches and initiatives are adequately supported, maximizing ROI.
2) Retail Excellence (Sell-Out)
Full accountability in the development, planning and execution of the Trade marketing strategy in line with Brand guidelines and Go-To-Market strategy in TR;
Drive the brief and development of Outpost & HPP/SPP, PR events to ensure maximum consumers engagement and conversion;
Ensure excellent POS execution of assigned brand(s) in close collaboration with Sales and Retail teams (VM, POSM);
Coordinate and prepare regional monthly reports, launch report analysis, business presentations and adapt strategy with booster plans if needed.
3) Team Development & Management
Spearhead relationship with key internal contacts, with emphasis on effectively influencing and challenging Global Brand Teams, providing a sound understanding of the TR marketplace;
Manage, drive and develop team performance by providing clear vision, constant guidance & feedback;
Foster cooperation with Global Brand and knowledge of operations in order to accelerate the brand building exercise on a global scale.
HOW YOU CAN FIT:
+7 years’ experience in Marketing / Trade Marketing (ideally in the cosmetic industry)
Experience in Travel Retail is mandatory
A first experience in team management is mandatory
Fluent in English and French
Available to travel up to 20 %
Strong customer centricity mindset and business acumen, results focused
Self-organized, proactive, hands-on and multitask oriented with a high level of autonomy and entrepreneurial spirit;
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal & communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and develop strong relationships at all levels and across functions
Rigorous with strong organizational skills
