Weezevent today invites you to join the adventure with a Production manager position (M/F) based in Switzerland office in Lausanne.
Poste
At the national level, your missions are varied and include three key points :
Shipments
- Preparation of the gear for events booking (clean, charge, configure, organise)
- Planning and supervision of local shipments
- Validation of invoices from shipment companies
- Return of the gear to the warehouse
- Device tracking
- Follow-up on Mushu Bookings
Warehouse management
- Inventories
- Maintenance of the gear
- Supervision of the seasonal team of warehouse assistants
- Ordering of side gear (chargers, production kits, etc.)
- Management of vehicles for the delivery team
Staff management
- Retain a pool of technicians (around thirty) with regular contact with technicians to find out their availability.
- Create a human resources allocation schedule for events: anticipate human needs in advance with event project managers and plan backup solutions if necessary
- Train technicians before they arrive in the field : set up a checklist
- Manage technicians' remuneration : payment and check invoices
- Manage technicians' expenses : obtain all professional expenses and supporting documents, control these expenses, centralise and make these expenses available by event and ensure they are re-invoiced
- Implement Weezevent best practice processes in the field: deployment/withdrawal of equipment and behaviour to adopt (communication, attire, etc.)
- Set up reporting on technicians' performance
The events sector is seasonal with a peak of activity from April to September. Over this period, the missions can evolve according to the needs. Outside of this period, from October to March, the position is part-time, with one day worked per week.
Profil recherché
You are a natural born leader, always in control of the situation. Sudden changes or problems don’t impact or phase you.
- You are competent at planning and execution, briefing and debriefing people;
- You are an emphatic people-person that knows how to get the best out of a crew;
- You work meticulously and pay attention to details;
- You are flexible with your working hours and days (available to attend events at weekends and on public holidays) – this is no 9 to 5 job;
- You have a good ICT knowledge and are eager to learn more;
- You speak fluently French and English, German is a big Plus . Any other language would be a plus;
