This position reports to
Maintenance Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage the processes to maintain and preserve the efficiency of all equipment, production lines and/or facilities, resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources. Every day you will supervise the execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of installations, production lines and/or equipment. You will also demonstrate your expertise by managing and updating the technical documentation of the installations, production lines and/or facilities. The working model for this role is: on-site This role is a contribution to the electrification, smart buildings in Schaffhausen. Main stakeholders are production, production engineers and external contractors. You will be mainly responsible for: • Working closely with production, production engineers as well as external contractors and supporting the service team in Schaffhausen, including training of service personnel in Bulgaria • Carrying out and monitoring repairs, projects as well as calibration and control of test equipment on production facilities • Ensuring compliance with current regulations for equipment and machine testing • Applying specialist knowledge in the areas of HVAC, I&C and control systems to optimize technical workflows and processes
Qualifications for the role
- Completed further training as a master craftsman or technician with a focus on electrical engineering
- Possession of an NIV 13 or NIV 15 license or willingness to acquire one
- Confident handling of modern IT, in particular MS Office and SAP
- Strong communication skills, cooperative working style and an independent and structured way of working
- Willingness to make occasional business trips (up to 20% of annual working hours) to our plant in Bulgaria
- Business fluent written and spoken German as well as English language skills of at least level B
