Job Description
We are looking for a collaborative, proactive and innovative IT Infrastructure & Application Specialist to be responsible for growing the IT infrastructure by working with cutting edge technologies on innovative and challenging projects and delivering high quality solutions from design to execution.
This role involves providing comprehensive technical support to customers throughout the system lifecycle, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
It also includes overseeing customer-driven innovation and integration initiatives to improve system performance and alignment with evolving business requirements.
Requirements
Requirements
Ensure all IT infrastructure components (servers, networks, storage, etc.) are operational, secure, and optimized for performance.

Implement and manage monitoring systems to track the health and performance of IT infrastructure.

Oversee the resolution of infrastructure-related incidents and problems, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.

Forecast future infrastructure needs based on business growth and technological advancements.

Implement and maintain security measures to protect infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.

Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications to ensure they meet business requirements and SLAs.

Implement application performance monitoring tools to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Manage the resolution of application-related incidents and problems, coordinating with development teams and other stakeholders as needed.

Oversee the application change management process, ensuring changes are thoroughly tested and deployed with minimal risk to operations.

Manage relationships with application vendors, ensuring they meet performance and support commitments.
- Lead infrastructure and application projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Manage the performance of the project team complying with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
PROFESSIONAL BAKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
B.A. in IT field or B.A. / master’s degree in computer science / engineering.

At least 3- 5 years of experience in the ICT & Hosting roles.

Knowledge in Virtualization & dockerization technologies and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO 27001.

Demonstrated leadership and project management experience.

Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with business acumen.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills required for interfacing with all levels of management. Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with clients face to face.
- Fluent knowledge of the English language Deep understanding of the life sciences market and technologies will be considered a plus.
