Tasks & Responsibilities

Design of control and regulation systems for high-voltage direct current systems (HVDC)

Creation of design specifications and documentation

Clarification of technical requirements within the project team and with customers and suppliers

Implementation of the control software in MATLAB/SIMULINK and verification with simulation tools and real-time test environments

Remote support for commissioning and service of HVDC systems

Work Experience

Required skills

Strong PLC experience (understanding of state flow, FBD programming with various tools such as Simulink, TwinCAT, deployment on HW and testing on HW)

Experience in designing and developing complex logics, interlocks in ladder diagram and FBD environment (such as IEC61131-3)

Experience in using the control software (generating, loading, executing and testing the software/logic)

Experience with manual tests, simulated tests and software-in-loop tests

Willingness to learn new ways of working

Excellent communication skills

Good to have

o Experience in programming Beckoff TwinCAT with MATLAB / Simulink and IE1410 interface

o Creation of interfaces
