Job Description
EFG Bank is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Temporary (6 months) Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing, verifying, and releasing supplier invoices and payments, supporting the AP centralization process, and performing miscellaneous accounting tasks. This position will primarily serve our Swiss entities and other centralized entities within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Efficiently store, verify, and perform initial checks on supplier invoices, ensuring accurate data, VAT application, and compliance for both CH and centralized entities.
- AP Centralization Participation: Support the Accounts Payable (AP) centralization process, contributing to a seamless transition and standardized procedures.
- Final Review and Payment Release: Conduct final checks on invoices, confirm accounting accuracy, and release payments according to established deadlines.
- Miscellaneous Accounting Tasks: Assist the team with additional accounting duties as required, contributing to the overall success of the department.
Skills and experience
- Bachelor/master in business/accounting/ economics
- Team working and solution oriented
- Excellent analytical skills with detail orientation
- Good command of English and French languages
