For our Product Development department, we are looking for a working student (x|f|m) starting from February 2025 for at least 12 months and 10-20 h/week. The position is based in Ulm (Sartorius Stedim Cellca GmbH), Germany. In this role you would support the team in the further development and improvement of our cell culture media and cell line development platform for the production of biopharmaceuticals.

Grow with us – Your Responsibilities

• Support the team in their daily work and on weekends and public holidays. The following methods will be conducted in the lab:

• Passaging of mammalian cells on various formats

• Cell cultivation in shake flasks, Mini Bioreactors (Ambr® Systems) and benchtop bioreactors in fed-batch and perfusion

• Protein analytics (product titer)

• Cell culture media preparation

• Bachelor or Master studies in biochemistry, biology, biotechnology or related fields

• First experience with working under sterile conditions and handling mammalian cell lines
