We are seeking a candidate with a background in accounting and financial reporting, who is also proficient in the German language, to join a team focused on IFRS reporting. The role requires strong communication, analytical, and technical skills to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and completeness of financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the prompt and precise preparation of financial statements for clients in line with IFRS standards. This involves managing deadlines, coordinating deliverables, and upholding high quality standards for all reports.
- Lead the development and implementation of accounting and reporting processes for alternative investment funds, ensuring they are both effective and compliant with relevant regulations and internal risk controls.
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce manual tasks, and implement improvements that enhance efficiency.
- Contribute to both internal and external projects related to IFRS reporting and other financial reporting standards.
- Engage with clients regularly to discuss reporting deliverables, address concerns, and provide updates on any changes affecting their financial statements.
- Take ownership of operational tasks, such as system upgrades, fund events, intercompany transactions, and ad-hoc queries, as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
- A strong affinity for technology and numbers, with proficiency in MS Office tools.
- A proactive, analytical approach with the ability to take initiative, solve problems, and refine reporting processes.
- Capable of working independently and in an organized manner to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
- Comfort and efficiency in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with excellent time management skills.
- Fluency in both German and English is essential.
Education & Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- A solid understanding of financial services and investment products.
- Experience with financial systems and back-office solutions is a plus.
- Familiarity with translating IFRS standards into business requirements is an added advantage.
