For our Group Finance Business Controlling department we are looking with immediate effect or by agreement for a
Finance Controller (m/f/d) 100%
Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Monitor and analyse financial data to optimize resource utilization and allocation
- Collaborate with Business Partners to meet Pharma Business Unit budget targets while maintaining high standards of quality and cost efficiency
- Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to improve financial performance
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability
Reporting and Data Preparation:
- Prepare and update various reports, including monthly comments, performance reviews, and presentations
- Download and analyse data from systems like SAP, Power BI and CubeWare
- Conduct monthly reviews with management and Business Partners
Planning and Forecasting:
- Detailed Budgeting & Forecasting of cost centre costs, FTEs and investments in close collaboration with Business Partners
Project Controlling:
- Prepare Business Cases and manage the financial aspects of projects
- Monitoring of project spend to ensure projects are completed within budget
- Work closely with project managers and other stake-holders to maintain project alignment with company goals
Ad hoc:
- Handle various ad hoc requests and analyses as needed
Requirements, Qualifications, Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or natural medicine industry
- Proven experience in finance and project controlling
- Strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proficiency in financial software and systems such as SAP, Power BI, and Excel
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
- Experience with data preparation and report generation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with Business Partners, project managers, and other stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle ad hoc requests efficiently
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Experience in developing and implementing KPIs for production performance improvement
- Ability to communicate professionally in English and ideally also in German
