Your responsibilities and tasks:
At GEA Digital, the IIoT Chapter is dedicated to transforming industrial operations through cutting-edge technology and data-driven solutions. We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our IIoT platform.
As a Systems Engineer for our IIoT platform, you will be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the infrastructure and systems that support our IIoT solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our platform, enabling seamless integration and data flow between industrial devices and enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to support business operations.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Provide technical support and training to end-users.
Conduct business process analysis to identify and implement IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop and maintain process maps, workflows, and other documentation to support business process improvements.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for system deployment and management.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, providing timely support to internal teams and customers
Your profile and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on IIoT or related technologies.
Proven track record managing and optimizing systems for performance, cost and usability.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
