for its global Pharma Division Headquarter based in Allschwil- Basel.
Primary Job Function:
Develop and execute a strategic business and marketing plan to drive the growth of Abbott’s Immunology & Biosimilar brands in key indications. Ensure the successful implementation of marketing strategies and tactics, securing full engagement and alignment from regional and affiliate teams to achieve outstanding commercial results.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and champion a robust cross functional brand plans designed to accelerate the growth of Abbott’s Immunology & Biosimilar brands. Ensure the plan identifies future trends, addresses key issues, and leverages opportunities to outperform competitors and drive above market growth.
Market Insights and Research: Lead the initiation of critical market insights and research to uncover unmet needs and enhance customer experience. Translate these insights into actionable strategies that inform and drive marketing initiatives.
Brand Positioning and Differentiation: Define and drive global brand positioning, ensuring competitive differentiation and compelling messaging for Immunology and Biosimilar products. Set inspirational goals that align with Abbott’s vision and resonate with key stakeholders.
Integrated Marketing Programs: Design, plan, and oversee the execution of integrated marketing programs for Immunology and Biosimilar products. Utilize a portfolio selling approach and multi-channel strategies to effectively engage healthcare professionals, pharmacists, and patients.
Global Launch Excellence: Create and implement a comprehensive global launch plan for new Immunology and Biosimilar products. Prioritize key actions to ensure alignment and seamless execution across affiliates, closely monitoring progress to ensure success.
Affiliate Collaboration and Support: Foster strong communication and alignment with local marketing and sales teams. Provide guidance and support to ensure affiliate marketing plans are strategically sound and effectively executed.
Budget Optimization: Strategically manage the promotional support budget to maximize ROI and achieve both top-line and bottom-line objectives for the Immunology and Biosimilar portfolio.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish robust monitoring mechanisms to track the execution and impact of marketing programs. Prepare detailed monthly reports for senior management, including performance dashboards, highlights, and ad-hoc analyses.
Best Practice Sharing: Drive the sharing of best practices across regions and affiliates, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the global marketing team.
Minimum Education:
University degree (ideally Science and/or Business) with a preference for it to be complemented by an MBA or post graduate marketing qualification.
Minimum Experience/Training Required:
Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical/immunology sales and marketing experience at an affiliate or regional level, ideally with exposure to global project initiatives.
Proven success in Immunology, Osteoporosis & Biosimilar brand management.
Experience working within Emerging Markets (LatAm, Asia, Middle-East & Africa) is a significant advantage
Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in additional languages such as Spanish, Arabic, or Mandarin is a plus.
