WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Santander’s Export Credit and Agency (ECA) franchise has consistently been amongst the top three banks for the last five years and is known for its excellence in origination, execution as well as innovation.

As an ECAs Intern, you will have the possibility of developing a sophisticated set of skills in the GTB area, a deeper understanding of SCIB areas of interest and gain exposure to critical business tasks and projects.

• We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
• Assisting senior team-members in creating new business opportunities
• Working on the preparation and execution of transactions
• Performing financial and strategic business analysis
• Liaising and coordinating many phases of the business development along with other departments (client coverage, Middle and Back Office, products specialist, compliance, legal)
• Preparing and delivering client presentations and supporting other business initiatives

EXPERIENCE

• First work experience gained (preferably in activities related to Transaction Banking, Trade ECA Finance or M&A) or a passion for financial concepts and strategic thinking.

EDUCATION

• Strong academic track record (preferably in business administration, finance, accounting and/or economics).

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Motivated, strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, a team player.
• Highly proficient in spoken and written German and fluent in English and Spanish.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to Banco Santander’s high ethical standards.
