We are looking for a finance professional highly motivated and willing to take a step further in its career by joining our team.
This position is intended to provide financial leadership to the EMEA Supply Chain. This position will report to the EMEA FP&A Hub Director and provide value adding business partnering to EMEA Operations Director and Supply Chain Finance Global team and serve as a bridge between Global Supply Chain Finance and the Cluster FP&A teams.
This position is located in San Martino di Trecate (NO), Italy.
What will you be doing?
- Lead and co-ordinate the development of the annual supply chain budget, forecasts and other trends as required in line with the strategy and in collaboration with the regional finance and commercial leadership.
- Regional optimization savings tracking. Support identification opportunities to optimize costs and performance and lead the effort in the region to track every savings opportunity and report as needed to global supply chain.
- Lead and co-ordinate Annual costing exercise for region and the monthly cost update with commentary on key changes; Drive Costing process alignment across the region.
- Produce monthly reporting (and related explanation of variances) of financial performance and operations activity in a timely manner, respecting the deadlines, ensure data quality, and communicate effectively.
- Business partnering with supply chain, including assessing any financial risk and implication on future supply chain initiative.
- In coordination with the global SC Finance Director, lead the development of ROI models for large capital expenditure projects as needed and provide financial guidance to operations to help build and validate assumptions.
- Follow up on the financial impact of key initiatives / projects and evaluate the results.
- Monitor key performance indicators of Inventory, Cost and Service Level in coordination with respective owners.
- Analyze the gaps, check data consistency, challenge results, identify risks / opportunities and propose corrective actions needed to keep budget or forecast targets.
- Ensure compliance with management, accounting, taxes standards.
- Collaborate with the Regional Finance leadership team on finance strategy and development matters.
Who are You?
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
- Over 8+ years of Accounting/Finance experience required.
- Robust knowledge in supply chain finance, costing and operations.
- Beneficial to have prior experience in FP&A.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience of building and working with complex models and large data sets.
- Will be a plus to have knowledge of SAP.
- Familiarity with BI tools will be a plus.
What competencies will you need?
- Demonstrable experience in working collaboratively and proactively to address emerging issues and delivering improvements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (other languages are an advantage).
- Eager to learn and embraces change.
- Action oriented and drive result.
- Experience in team management of direct and indirect reports will be a plus.
