Supply Chain Network Manager (m/f/d)

Your new job includes

As a Supply Chain Network Manager (m/f/d) in the logistics department, you are responsible for strategic tender management in conjunction with 3PL management and network management.
In particular, you will

• implement the freight procurement strategy and independently refine the existing tender roadmap and segmentation according to market conditions
• conduct global market analyses, benchmarks, and freight tenders in collaboration with Indirect Procurement and 3PL management, and support the operational implementation and ramp-up
• develop or negotiate tariffs, contracts and conditions for tendering of external logistics services in collaboration with Indirect Procurement
• analyze independently the flow of goods and derive optimization potentials regarding the consolidation of transport structures, new delivery forms, or loading aids and transport means in close coordination with internal and external stakeholders
• drive continuous improvement for the supply chain holistically, and develop best practices with internal and external stakeholders to make the supply chain network more flexible and resilient, as well as reduce CO2 emissions
• respond to new delivery concepts for new business and, in coordination with Indirect Procurement, define and develop conditions for potential logistics service providers

What you should bring along

• Completed studies in business administration with a focus on logistics and/or supply chain management or an alternatively successfully completed apprenticeship
• Several years of professional experience with proven success in transport or contract logistics
• Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel), SAP experience (ERP, BI/BO) is desirable
• Fluency in written and spoken German and English, additional language skills are an advantage
• Structured and strategic way of working and thinking, as well as an affinity for preparing various data sources and spreadsheets
• Good business judgment combined with strong communication skills, both written and spoken, across different hierarchical levels
