Our Profile
The RWTH Center for Artificial Intelligence (AI Center) combines the ai competences within the RWTH and hence, contributes to the ai excellence in Germany and Europe. The core tasks of the AI Center are supporting and strengthening the internal and external ai community as well as informing the industry and general public.
Your Profile
At the earliest opportunity, we are looking for a reliable, independent and structured student with strong motivation and:
- Good written and spoken English and German skills;
- Knowledge of creating or maintaining websites (optional);
- Knowledge of common IT software (e.g. Office, photo/video editing);
- Knowledge of creating databases (optional);
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with topics related to the AI Center for example, the corporate design of RWTH Aachen University (website).
Your Duties and Responsibilities
We are looking for support with a wide range of tasks related to the administration and organization of the AI Center, e.g.:
- Support in the organization of events (e.g. AI Colloquium and AI Week);
- Maintenance and updating of the websites of the AI Center and the AI Week;
- Creation of graphics and/or presentations (German and English);
- Communication with participating scientists and partners;
- Creation, organization and maintenance of a database (optional);
- Other administrative tasks.
What We Offer
The successful candidate will be employed as a student assistant.
The position is to be filled at the earliest possible date and offered for a fixed term of 12 months.
A long-term employment is intended, yet, can be shortended if desired.
This is a part-time contract position.
The standard weekly hours will be 9-12 hours.
It is possible to adjust the number of hours per week.
The salary is based on the RWTH Guidelines for Student and Graduate Assistants.
The position corresponds to a pay grade of 13,25 € pro Stunde.
