Job Description Summary
As related customer equipment, faciliaties or infrastructure projects: responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.
The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).
Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- Achieving Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) goals, on-time delivery (OTD), and financial targets (revenue, margin, billing, cash flow) for the GE Vernova scope.
- Ensuring that the governance of project reviews aligns with the operational rhythm of GE Vernova, with a focus on risk management and corresponding mitigation plans. Continuously identifying opportunities.
- Leading and coaching a multicultural, cross-functional project team consisting of engineering, procurement, construction, project controls (costs and scheduling), finance, and contract management.
- Contributing to the implementation of the overall strategy for managing scope, changes, and claims based on the contract to achieve project performance objectives.
- Communication: Representing the company to the customer, controlling and managing this interface and relationship. Managing the internal and external communication loop with relevant stakeholders. Coordinating with consortium partners.
- Continuously monitoring and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) as required. Taking necessary actions and making decisions to ensure financial, timely, qualitative, and safety performance, thereby maximizing project goal achievement.

Supporting project planning:
- Creating and monitoring the master schedule, managing project buffers to ensure timely completion.
- Supporting commercial and financial control activities during project execution through regular reporting and forecasting of project metrics and KPIs.
- Ensuring coordination of technical support/engineering, manufacturing/delivery, and construction resources on-site.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in the Project Management & Turnkey Project Management
- Ba/MSc -Engineer in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Fluent in English, German would be a plus
- Experience of managing multi‐disciplinary teams with multiple interfaces and high project local content
- Experience of team building and team culture development
- Management of projects with severe financial, technical, and commercial risk
- Willingness to work in different locations for short or medium periods and to travel world‐wide
