experience with wireless or bus-based networks for embedded or smart systems, sensor networks
or networks of technical systems in general? Then we look forward to hearing from you! At our
university, you will have the opportunity not only to pass on your knowledge to dedicated students,
but also to actively conduct research and thus help shape the future of networked Embedded
Systems.

Your tasks:

Bachelor's degree program “Informatik – Smart Systems” and of other Bachelor’s and Master's
degree programs in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering in German and English.

(fundamentals of IP networks as well as specific networks in the domains of embedded or smart
systems) and software programming (in C/C++, among others).

cooperation with your practice partners, thus creating valuable connections between
academia and industry.

(Low Energy), 5G, LPWANs, MQTT, or industrial bus systems.

  • Ideally you also have practical experience in the implementation of according network protocol

stacks as well as in the development/programming of networked Embedded Systems in at least
one application domain, e.g. Automotive / Industry 4.0 / Internet-of-Things / smart systems /
sensor networks / or industrial distributed systems.

  • You can provide evidence of teaching experience, e.g. through teaching assignments,

experience in education, or didactic training courses.

  • You are committed, team-oriented and enjoy internationally networked thinking and acting as
