What you’ll do & Who you are
As an HR Operations Specialist, you’ll be the go-to person for HR processes, ensuring seamless support for employees and maintaining impeccable data integrity. From managing employee records to preparing key reports, you’ll play a critical role in enabling data-driven decisions and aligning HR processes with organizational goals. Collaborating closely with the Workers Council, payroll, and other HR teams, you’ll contribute to creating an efficient, compliant, and employee-focused HR function.
This role will be reporting to the Head of Employee Relations & HR Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Support: Be a trusted advisor on HR policies, processes, labor law related questions and administrative tasks, ensuring employees receive accurate and timely support.
- Personnel Administration: Handle employment contracts, amendments, and certificates with precision and compliance.
- Workers Council Coordination: Prepare documentation and support effective collaboration with the Workers Council.
- HRIS & Data Management: Maintain employee data and ensure accuracy across HR systems. Drive continuous improvement in data quality and system integration.
- Reporting & Insights: Build regular people data reports and dashboards, offering actionable insights to leadership. Analyze trends to inform HR strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with payroll and external stakeholders (e.g., health insurance providers) to ensure smooth processes and compliance.
- Process Improvement: Support ongoing HR strategy implementation and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and employee experience. Manage smaller projects end to end.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years in HR operations or administration, ideally with experience supporting Workers Council processes.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in HRIS and advanced Excel. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Data-Driven: Strong analytical mindset with experience setting up reports and interpreting HR metrics.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail in managing employee data and compliance.
- Communication Skills: Confident communicator with employees, leadership, and external stakeholders.
- HR Knowledge: Solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices, ensuring processes are compliant and legally sound.
