GEA Group Services GmbH in Düsseldorf takes over the corporate functions of GEA AG, including areas such as corporate finance, legal and IT, which provide central services for all company divisions. The location also houses the Digital HUB and the Center of Excellence (CoE).
To further enhance HR support to our employees and managers, our HR Operations Team covers our organization worldwide in over 50 countries. From 3 hubs we are supporting our company in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Performance Services, Employee Data Services, Rewards Services, Learning Services, Employee & Manager Services and Payroll Services. In this role you will be part of the HR Technology & Infrastructure team which supports HR Operations with designing, implementing and maintaining enabling HR IT technologies that support efficient HR processes with a focus on increasing manager and employee self-service.
To give you a better picture on the activities we have listed them below. Have a look:
Identify future requirements and designs of our global time tracking system landscape by working closely with the payroll team, HR Systems Management Team Team and our service providers into value-adding deliverables, especially with regard to integrations to our HRIS Workday. Workday is our leading global HR system.
Manage concurrent and complex activities throughout the complete technology life cycle: from system upgrades and phase x projects to new products
Optimize HR technology systems and integrations to meet workflow requirements by creating opportunities for automation and reducing manual processes to help drive accuracy
Engage with business stakeholders and concept owners to understand processes and provide guidance to streamline HR functions for maximum efficiency
Ensure a well-coordinated technology implementation to create outstanding employee & manager experience, simplicity and customer satisfaction
Coordinate and collaborate with (external) IT developers to ensure automation is well designed, planned, implemented, released and monitored
Identify and enforce improvement potential, ensure deliverables of current and future projects/activities are captured in roadmap(s), track it and ensure an adequate resource allocation
Ensure standardization, harmonization and best practice sharing within HR
Your profile and qualifications:
University degree preferably in Business Administration, Information Systems in Human Resources or similar
Functional and implementation expertise in HR Technology and several years of working with Time and Atendance Systems in an international (matrix) environment
Proven track record in implementing, interface integration (API REST), data migrations, optimizing and leading complex, cross-functional HR system/solution projects, preferably experienced in Workday
Up to date with latest HR thinking, tools and techniques and eager to stay current with trends in HR Technology. Familiar with agile project management.
Excellent business analytical and planning skills, solution orientated and strong in prioritization
Understand business needs and translate them into an actionable project request for approval and prioritization
Strong communication skills, being able to transfer complex system structures into easy communication for stakeholders
Sense of urgency, ownership and independence to drive projects to completion
Fluency in English is mandatory; German language skills would be of advantage
