The Procurement Business Controller & Market Analyst will be the link between global procurement teams and the divisions creating transparency around procurement contributions. The incumbent will be responsible for reporting procurement contribution KPIs and processes performance. The job holder will manage, review and monitor regular global reporting of procurement results and addressable spend developments. The function will be providing guidance on possible improvements.
The Business Controller & Market Analyst will be making available data for
procurement teams to draw on their own spend reports and will source tailor made market intelligence to enable sourcing strategy optimization and improved buying channel configuration. The job holder will drive the initiative of providing data through a self-service platform and offer guidance on an efficient use of data. The function will report to the Head of Global Procurement Infrastructure & Enablement. The function will provide the organization with data from internal and external sources and make sure to be a sparring partner to the Global Procurement organisation as well as to business stakeholders.
YOUR CHALLENGE
Develop standard Global Procurement reporting deck including common Procurement Contribution indicators and Process Performance measurement
Report relevant Procurement Financials and KPIs on regular basis
Define required market intelligence requirements together with Head of Global Category Management
Provide the Global Procurement organization with Market Intelligence and Benchmarks
Create and maintain a self-service Cockpit and Information Hub of relevant Data for other Global Procurement teams
Provide Reports for global Procurement Leadership team
Establish, development and manage the spend taxonomy, liaise with relevant i nternal stakeholders
Support in projects, support in internal audits, vendor due diligence structuring and related topics
YOUR PROFILE
Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics or discipline related to the role (Univ. or FH)
5 years or more experience in a Procurement, Financial Controlling and/or Management Accounting
Very strong analytical and numerical skills
Solid understanding of the Procurement function, key performance metrics of the function, including Source-to-Pay process performance indicators
Expert user of Excel and other tools (Tableau, Dataiku, etc.)
Experience with SAP, especially FI, CO, MM, SRM and or Ariba, BW, Hana database
Ability to work individually and handle and structure large amounts of (raw) data
Team player who is open-minded, hands-on, a critical strategic thinker and has excellent problem solving skills
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Very good mastery of English (minimum C1) and German (written and spoken)
First experience with external market intelligence providers
Experience with SAP S4, especially Procurement / Controlling functionalities
Experience with data warehousing
