We are seeking a highly motivated and diligent FP&A Trainee to join our Finance team on a 6-month fixed-term basis. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone early in their finance career who is looking to gain hands-on experience in FP&A. As an FP&A Trainee, you will support the team in various financial tasks, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will also give to analyzing business performance and providing insights that support strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
Financial Analysis: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and performance measurements.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the FP&A team in the preparation of budgets and forecasts by capturing data, updating financial models, and analyzing key assumptions.
Data Management: Maintain and update financial databases and systems to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, including presentations and dashboards.
Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and research to support business initiatives and decision-making processes.
Enhancement in Execution: Identify and recommend improvements to financial processes and reporting tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Teamwork: Work closely with divisions and functions to capture vital financial information and provide support where needed.
Align financial activities with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
Key requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial modeling and data analysis tools
Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle several tasks
Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial documents
Previous internship or experience in finance, accounting, or related field is a plus, but not required.
