Job posting: Finance Manager
The Renewables Grid Initiative (RGI) is a unique collaboration of NGOs and
Transmission System Operators (TSOs) from across Europe. We promote
transparent, environmentally sensitive grid development to enable the further steady
growth of renewable energy and the energy transition.

We are looking for a Finance Manger to join our team ASAP.

Role Responsibility

Reporting to the CEO you will have ultimate responsibility to provide sound financial
and administrative management of the organisation. Assisted by two team members
internally and an external tax accountant you will be responsible for:

• P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow management & multi-level reporting.
• Ownership of annual audit process and any requests from the German Tax

Office.

• Annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, 3-year plans at project, funder, and entity

level.

• Budgeting for project fundraising, including as consortium lead, costs reporting

as requested by funding requirements.

• Tracking of funding agreements to ensure optimum costs allocation and use of

funds.

• Supervision of processing and validation of contracts, invoices, and expenses.
• Ad-hoc projects and diverse challenges from a small-company environment.

Qualifications

• Finance/Accounting master degree, CPA, CFA or equivalent.
• A minimum of seven years of professional experience in similar functions.
• Experience in financial management of EU projects and/or operating grants.
• Fluency in English, good knowledge of German is preferable.
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite in particular Excel.
• Autonomous manner with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
• Desire and commitment to work in a small team in a multicultural working

environment.

The contract will run for two years with the option to prolong it and become a
permanent contract. The starting date is as soon as possible. The work location is
currently Tempelhof, Berlin. This is a full-time position.
