What do we do ?

Born in 2021 from the desire to make cities less polluted and quieter, Electra is helping to shift usage towards electric mobility by tackling the main barrier: charging.

Electra is constantly innovating to make electric vehicle charging easier, with a network of fast charging stations (20 minutes on average) and a maximally simplified user experience.

Based in Paris, Lyon, Bordeau, Nantes, Brussels, Madrid, Zurich, Vienna, Munich, Milan and Amsterdam, Electra's teams aim to deploy a network of 15,000 fast charging points by 2030, proud to contribute to the energy transition in Europe.

In 3 years, we have:
Deployed 300 stations and over 1700 fast-charging points

Secured thousands of stations to establish Electra as a leader in the European market

Opened several offices in France and Europe

Raised over €750 million in equity and debt financing from renowned investors and institutions

Your Missions

In 2023 we opened Electra's Switzerland office. We are now looking to expand our team and recruit motivated and driven individuals to set up 100 fast charging stations by the end of 2026.

As Business Developer, you will be responsible for prospecting, building and signing partnerships with property owners of hotels, restaurants, operators of underground garages, cinemas, etc. to develop Electra's ultra-fast charging network in Switzerland. Your main challenge is to open as many doors as possible to convert deals and to map out the best locations possible in Switzerland.

Under the responsibility of the Country Manager, you will liaise with all Electra teams (finance, operations, product, development, legal) to identify the best synergies with our partners and the most suitable locations for ultra-fast charging.

‍️ Main Responsibilities

Identifying and prospecting the most relevant sites and partners in line with Electra's internal strategy

Convincing your prospects to trust Electra to install an ultra-fast charging station on their land

Promoting Electra's offer in the different sectors (retail, hotel, catering) to decision-makers: hotel and general managers, property owners, technical managers, etc.

Preparing and presenting commercial and technical proposals in close collaboration with the operations team

Convincing potential partners and signing contracts with decision-makers to secure the best locations for Electra’s expansion

Opportunity to working in collaboration with assigned key accounts

Your profile

You speak French and English fluently. German and Swiss German are an advantage

You have 2+ years of experience as a sales representative (prospection) or business developer or in a similarly challenging role

You are autonomous and organized with a strong team spirit

You have a high willingness to find the best locations for Electra’s fast expansion

You are proactive and show initiative for all new business development opportunities

You can quickly connect with new people and know how to handle setbacks

You understand customer needs, can respond to them, and have an open ear

You have fluid, clear and transparent communication

You have a desire to develop and learn in a fast-growing scale-up

You are interested in current energy and environmental topics with a passion for electromobility
