Corporate & Brand PR Specialist (m/f/d)
Role Summary:
As the Corporate & Brand PR Specialist (m/f/d), you will manage public relations activities to effectively communicate the organization’s message to internal and external audiences. Your responsibilities include drafting articles, press releases, and communications such as management speeches and annual report sections. You will collaborate with PR agencies, news outlets, and event organizers to ensure projects meet timelines and budgets. Additionally, you will assist in project planning and execute tasks independently with minimal supervision and periodic progress reviews.
We want you to:
- Provide support to internal and external stakeholders, Corporate & Brand PR colleagues, and the PR Director to achieve departmental objectives.
- Conduct initial analysis and summarize findings into actionable reports to aid decision-making.
- Respond to internal and external ad-hoc requests promptly and efficiently.
- Execute administrative, operational, and technical tasks in alignment with Hyundai’s policies and under the Line Manager’s guidance.
- Develop and implement ideas to position Hyundai as a sustainable brand in Europe, including activations and communications around Hyundai’s CSV Strategy and partnerships.
- Lead communications on Hyundai’s sustainability efforts in Europe, including storytelling, press releases, and media campaigns.
- Organize and manage media events and activations across Europe, ensuring alignment with the brand’s messaging.
- Collaborate closely with European markets on PR and communication activities to ensure consistency and local relevance.
- Coordinate with agencies on events and PR activities, maintaining quality and adherence to timelines.
- Create and manage content for various channels, such as press kits, newsroom stories, and press releases, with a focus on sustainability and corporate topics.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and trends to identify opportunities for improved communication strategies.
- Adapt to changing requirements, identify areas for improvement, and actively seek innovative solutions to enhance Hyundai’s brand image.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, media studies, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or a related role, preferably in an agency or corporate PR department.
- Strong understanding of PR fundamentals, including writing press releases, speaker briefings, and conceptualizing PR strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively, meeting deadlines with structured and organized approaches.
- High interest in sustainability trends, CSR activities, and brand/corporate topics.
- Creative, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with intercultural understanding and empathy.
- Strong written and spoken English skills.
- Proficiency in creating professional presentations (e.g., in PowerPoint) and familiarity with operational systems.
- A keen interest in the automotive industry and cars is a plus.
