We are looking for a proactive Client Services Officer (CSO) who is passionate about client engagement and eager to contribute to our mission of empowering entrepreneurial minds to create lasting value. In this role, you will be a vital link between clients and our internal teams, ensuring the seamless execution of customer instructions while building strong relationships in a stimulating and dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Instruction Management: Receive, prepare, and execute customer instructions in compliance with internal procedures, including authorization processes and form management.
- Alternative Contact for CRO: Serve as an alternative contact for the Chief Relationship Officer (CRO), assisting with phone inquiries, meetings, and communication.
- Transaction Processing: Input transactions into our systems as required and ensure accuracy.
- Corporate Action Events: Collect and process customer instructions related to corporate action events efficiently.
- Research and Documentation: Conduct research as requested by the CRO and prepare necessary documentation.
- File Management: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of customer files, regularly updating information as needed.
- Interdepartmental Liaison: Act as the team’s point of contact for other departments, addressing troubleshooting requests and facilitating communication.
- Client Onboarding: Assist with onboarding new clients, ensuring compliance with AML, KYC, FATCA, and CRS regulations for account openings.
- Corporate Structure Analysis: Analyze and understand company structures to better assist clients.
- Team Monitoring: Monitor team deadlines and assist in follow-ups on pending issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Additional Support: Provide assistance to the CRO with any other delegated tasks as necessary.
Position is Based in Geneva
Skills and Experience:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role within private banking or financial services.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of private banking processes, financial products, and regulatory requirements (KYC, AML, FATCA, CRS). Good understanding of financial instruments (funds, tracker, structured products, derivatives such as options on securities and FX);
- Languages: Excellent proficiency in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in standard IT systems; ability to quickly learn new software.
