The Position Roche Diagnostics Italy is seeking a highly skilled Business Process Excellence Head to design, develop, govern and execute a comprehensive business process excellence strategy, in alignment with local and regional business objectives. The ideal candidate will ensure the strategy remains current with relevant directives and audit recommendations. Key Responsibilities: Strategy Implementation & Enterprise OKRs (Objectives and Key Results):

  • Develop and implement a business process excellence strategy for RD Italy.
  • Ensure alignment with local and regional business objectives, and keep the strategy updated with relevant directives and audit recommendations.
  • Support the definition of the local strategy and orchestrate the setting, sharing, and monitoring of Enterprise Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for RD Italy.
  • Promote the OKRs methodology with support of the OKRs Community of Practice.

Quality & Process Improvement:

  • Oversee quality-related activities to drive efficient design, implementation, and improvement of processes, beyond mere certification.

Process Governance & PO Support:

  • Lead the Process Owner Network (PON) and partner with Process Owners (POs) to prioritize, revise and implement efficient end-to-end processes and related change management strategies.
  • Stimulate and support POs in meeting deadlines and responsibilities, including audit remediation actions.
  • Foster cross-fertilization and best practice sharing in the PON, and support the revision and development of procedure to meet internal and external requirements.
  • Encourage radical simplification, smart-risk taking, and continuous improvement.

Team Facilitation:

  • Organize and lead cross-functional teams to identify root causes of problems.
  • Orchestrate process improvement initiatives tied to business strategies and support teams on delivery, using appropriate methodologies.

Cost Reduction:

  • Identify and share opportunities for cost reduction through waste elimination and resource optimization.

Continuous Learning:

  • Create feedback and follow-up mechanisms to foster continuous learning and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Audit teams.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act according to established priorities, support the organization in meeting business objectives, and contribute to delivering the best customer experience.
  • Be an active member of and contribute to relevant regional/global communities and networks.

Education & Experience:

  • University degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, Management, Legal, or related fields.
  • An MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in operational excellence, change management, facilitation, conflict resolution, and team coaching.
  • Experience in quality, audit, compliance, internal control processes/projects, and consultancy is a plus.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Fluency in English and Italian.
  • Strong skills in process management, including process mapping, business process reengineering, and process improvement.
  • Proficiency in Project Management, Lean, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strategic thinking and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to connect ideas, people, and initiatives across diverse functions and disciplines.
  • Deep business and market knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, thought leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong sense of accountability.
