We are currently looking for a talented and highly driven Restaurant Manager with passion of creating meMOrable dining experiences for guests.

Main Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage, the Restaurant Manager has overall responsibility of all aspects of the customer service, front and back of house.
- Is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all aspects of the food and beverage of operation of this outlet (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
- Have a very strategic approach towards maximising the restaurant demand, creating awareness with the marketing team in both the local market, within Switzerland and for hotel guests.
- Developing a regular and loyal client base and always aiming to create a repeat guest out of every first-time visit.
- Drive the revenue towards achieving the targets set in terms of covers, average checks and volumes.
- Carefully manage the operating costs as well as payroll to ensure they are in line with targeted projections.
- Oversee all operational and administrative aspects including staffing, training, quality delivery and team member development, menu development, and financial performance, ensuring exceptional service, culinary excellence, and profitability of his outlet
- Enforce and monitor that all operational standards, as per established policies, SOPs, hygiene, safety, and quality measures are always in place
- Assist in developing and implementing cost control measures to optimize profitability without compromising quality
- Collaborate with the respective culinary leaders and the hotel's management team to integrate restaurant operations with overall hotel objectives, to maximize revenue-generating opportunities in line with market demands
- Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to identify improvement areas and implement enhancement strategies.
- Cultivate relationships with guests, suppliers, and industry partners to enhance the restaurant's reputation and visibility
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement among the restaurant colleagues.
- Train, evaluate, and schedule all colleagues per the applicable standards, and policies and as per the overall business requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years experience working in a luxury hotel environment. European experience is a must
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position
- Proven experience in launching a significant restaurant, that is highly successful, from pre-opening onwards would be an advantage.
- Track record of building and driving a new restaurant business, creating demand, strong team leadership skills.
- Ability to communicate in proper English & French both verbally and in writing
- Excellent overall communication skills
- Able to multi-task
- Training and coaching skills
- The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for service, lots of flair and creativity
- You will have exceptional inter-personal, management and organizational skills
- Must be of smart appearance with excellent personal hygiene standards
