- This person will be dealing with quants with 10+ years of Python experience
- Programming + Training skills
- The candidate must have multiple years of software engineering experience, specifically in developing Python-based applications with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- A deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance, scalability, and availability is required.
- AWS Development : Proven ability in building and maintaining applications in the AWS environment is essential. Knowledge of key AWS services like ECS, S3, RDS, API Gateway and Lambda, as well as experience in serverless architecture, will be highly valued.
- Automated Testing: We require an expert in automated testing methodologies, including both unit and integration testing. Proficiency in using testing frameworks such as PyTest, Unittest, or similar tools is expected.
- CI/CD Experience : The ideal candidate will have a firm understanding of CI/CD principles and experience in building and maintaining pipelines, preferably in GitLab. Experience in other platforms such as Jenkins or GitHub will be considered.
- Familiarity with terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to safely and predictably create, change, and improve infrastructure.
- Strong ability to produce clear and comprehensive documentation. This includes technical documentation, API documentation, and user guides. The candidate should be able to document code, architecture decisions, and operational procedures effectively to ensure that knowledge is accessible and maintainable.
