Hotel Information Systems Manager Full-time Job

The position will be a cornerstone in Kempinski’s migration to a cloud-based Property Management Systems and its ongoing support. Furthermore, it ensures that all Kempinski hotel information systems are operating in the most optimal method according to business needs and where required integrated according to standards to approved partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contributes to managing Kempinski’s next-generation cloud PMS across >75 hotels globally
  • Handles all aspects related to the project in close collaboration with the corporate and regional teams as well as the vendors and the hotels
  • Maintains Kempinski’s reservation systems and food and beverage point of sale landscape to deliver an efficient and revenue-focussed service level for hotels and partners
  • Supports the certifications and maintenance of third-party integrations of the hotel information systems.
  • Develops strong relationships with all relevant strategic partners of Kempinski and liaises with said vendors to review/escalate any issues, enhancement requirements and relevant project items.
  • Uncovers business opportunities linked to functionalities (new and existing) within the technology landscape of Kempinski.
  • Supports the hotels during the pre-opening process in the implementation of the relevant systems
  • Supports in safeguarding Kempinski’s brand strategy in terms of data standards as well as profile management.
  • Creates, maintains and reviews policies and procedures for central and property-level systems to enforce, communicate and implement Kempinski standards.



Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Passionate about technology and innovation
  • Proven experience with managing, and ideally migrations of Cloud PMS solutions
  • Ability to work and communicate in a dynamic multinational environment with remote teams
  • Excellent English skills
  • Good allround IT-skills and understanding of hotel systems and integration landscape
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • At least five years relevant work experience managing Property Management Systems and Point of Sale systems, ideally in a hotel group’s central or regional office
