Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership for continuous improvement in the areas of financial accounting, standardizing and simplifying processes, and internal controls working closely with others in the Controlling organization, Technical Accounting, Governance, Tax, and other key stakeholders.
- Serve as a central point of contact for driving process standardization across the Nutrition controlling group
- Standardize and maintain process for execution of strategic activities including: hiring and people planning, talent development, education and training, SOX compliance, balance sheets, financial reporting (in collaboration with ERA), inventory, policy adherence, etc.
- Collaborate with BU Controller to Identify and mitigate risks related to global Nutrition financial results.
- Collaborate with other leaders to identify and implement best practices across the global teams.
- Oversee global consolidation of financial results for Nutrition, disclosures requirements, Sox controls, and other reporting for customers as requested.
- Drive business focused projects and initiatives for global Nutrition controlling.
- Participate in system implementation activities impacting Nutrition.
- Drive internal projects as approved to ensure standardization and simplifications of processes.
- Support acquisitions and integration to ADM.
- Drive continuous improvement through collaboration of thought, innovative ideas, and proactive behavior.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of finance experience, including at least 8 years in a controlling role or within a consulting firm (Big4 experience preferred).
- Excellent skills in stakeholder management.
- Prior supervisory experience.
- Experience in the nutrition industry.
- Proficiency in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and strong data analytics skills.
- Strong visualization and communication skills, capable of addressing both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Experience with Power BI and large ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SAP) is a plus.
Willingness to work from our office 3 days per week.
